About Us

Behind every hero is a mentor who has his or her back.
Let us be a part of your origin story.

Prof. Noble Zaghi

FOUNDER & HEAD TUTOR

I have been dedicated to tutoring pre-medical students for the past 10 years, and my primary goal is to make the complicated easy and understandable. I try to create a comfortable environment conducive for learning. Each tutoring session begins with a comprehensive breakdown and discussion of the subject material, followed by questions to assess student weak points. Subsequently, sessions also include a quick review of previous topics discussed before introducing new ones. Over the years, I’ve found that this method works exceptionally well with students

My great success as a tutor stems from knowing how to explain difficult concepts to struggling students. Because of the breadth of my knowledge and education, I can easily explain complex concepts in a number of different ways until I find the approach that works best for each student. Furthermore, I tailor my teaching method to each student based on their unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. Ultimately, I keep my tutoring sessions relaxed and stress-free, while still pushing my students to challenge themselves and reach new academic heights. I believe that each student is capable of so much more than they realize, and it is a thrill and a joy to help unlock their potential for success

FAQs

What makes MCAT King different from other MCAT prep companies?

MCAT King is the only in-person MCAT prep center in New York City—and that makes all the difference. While other companies rely on generic online programs, we offer face-to-face support, personalized strategies, and real relationships. We work with students at every stage—from high school to med school—and tailor our approach to fit your goals. Our tutors are more than instructors; they’re mentors who guide, motivate, and genuinely care about your success.

Is MCAT King only for students taking the MCAT?

Absolutely not! While MCAT prep is our specialty, MCAT King works with students at every stage of their academic journey. We work closely with high schoolers, college students, post-bacs, pre-health majors of all kinds, and even current med students. Whether it’s mastering chemistry, crafting a standout personal statement, or diving into full-scale MCAT prep—we’re here to help you succeed.

Who teaches at MCAT King?

All of our tutors are hand-picked, trained, and mentored by Prof. Zaghi, who has been teaching pre-med students since 2009. Our tutors are top scorers, med students, or physicians—and they’ve all been exactly where you are.

Can I get help even if I haven’t started studying yet?

Yes, and we actually recommend it. Whether you’re just exploring what the MCAT is, or you are years away from applying to med school, our team can help you build a long-term strategy, plan your timeline, and avoid common pitfalls.

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Just book a free consultation or send us a quick message. We’ll take the time to understand your goals, timeline, and budget, then recommend the best tutor or program for your needs.
