Position Description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, WTC Pulmonary Disease Research Project, is seeking a volunteer to fill an open Academic and Research Assistant position.

Responsibilities include:

• • Interacting with patients

• • Managing and entering data into the database

• • Extracting clinical data from charts

• • Preparing documents and/or slides

• • Drafting reports

• • Assisting with bibliographic searches, lecture preparation, and other administrative support tasks

Position Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree

• • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)

• • Interest and/or experience in clinical research support and data management a plus

• • Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus

• • Master’s degree a plus

Time Commitment

Part-time, 15 hours per week (minimum) starting in September 2022.
