FAQs
How long does the accommodations process take?
Most applications require at least 60 days to review. Start your application as early as possible, ideally 3–4 months before your planned test date.
What if my request is denied?
We provide guidance for appeals and reconsiderations. Our expertise comes from handling hundreds of such cases annually.
Do you help with other standardized exams besides the MCAT?
Yes. We also support students with the DAT, OAT, GRE, USMLE, and other exams.
What kinds of documentation do I need?
Documentation may include recent neuropsychological evaluations, physician letters, therapy notes, school records (IEPs or 504s), and evidence of past accommodations.
I don’t have recent testing or medical records. Can you still help?
Yes. We will guide you through what documentation to obtain and connect you with evaluators if necessary.
How early should I start the process?
Because AAMC reviews take 60+ days and appeals can take additional time, we recommend beginning the process at least 3–4 months before your MCAT date.
Can you guarantee my accommodations will be approved?
No one can guarantee approval. However, with our expertise and experience in over 400 cases annually, we significantly increase your chances of success.
What types of accommodations are typically approved?
Common approvals include extended time, additional breaks, separate testing rooms, screen readers, and alternative test formats.
Do you offer both in-person and online consultations?
Yes, consultations can be done online (Zoom) or in person at our New York office.
Is the $300 consultation fee applied to future tutoring if I continue?
Yes, your initial consultation sets the foundation. If you continue with tutoring, the plan we create will carry forward.
Can you work with my school or advisor directly?
Yes, with your permission we can coordinate with your school, pre-health advisor, or disability office to strengthen your application.
Do you provide mock practice under accommodations?
Yes, we offer practice testing conditions tailored to extended time, breaks, or alternative formats so you can feel fully prepared.
