Organization The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, WTC Pulmonary Disease Research Project

Position Description The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, WTC Pulmonary Disease Research Project, is seeking a volunteer to fill an open Academic and Research Assistant position.

Responsibilities include:

• Interacting with patients

• Managing and entering data into the database

• Extracting clinical data from charts

• Preparing documents and/or slides

• Drafting reports

• Assisting with bibliographic searches, lecture preparation, and other administrative support tasks

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)

• Interest and/or experience in clinical research support and data management a plus

• Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus

• Master's degree a plus

Time Commitment Part-time, 15 hours per week (minimum) starting in September 2022.
